How to do your own halloween mask?

You can buy rolls of plaster casting at A.C. Moore or any craft store (inexpensively). The material can be applied directly to your face (use Vaseline first) or you can make forms from wadded up newspaper. You cut the plaster in strips, wet with water, and apply to surface. Dries quickly and can be sanded and painted. You can also decorate with fur, sequins, feathers, etc...

Good Luck-it's really fun to use and has endless possibilities. How to do your own halloween mask?
I crocheted masks for my girls when they were small. Crochet lets you sculpt a mask as you make it with different colors of yarn along with beads, feathers, and out decorations.. I used worsted weight yarn and kept the eye-holes large so that they could see well out of them.
