Im planing a my halloween costume, and I have decided to make a insect head, just like the one from this link:

I want to make this type of head, but I would like to see some ideas of how to make it I was thinking to use a ballon as a base for the helmet and then with some newspaper and glue with water make the details and form,paint it black and use some silicon to make it shine, what do you think or you have better ideasHow can I make a cheap halloween insect mask with home products?
The link doesn't work, but for a bug-mask thing you could get half-tennis-ball eyes painted black with little eye holes. You might want to use black wool or rur or something on the head because bugs are kind of hairy.
For the basic mask...you can buy a plain mask and decorate it.
