How can I make a good catwoman mask for halloween?

I am creating my own catwoman costume for halloween, but I am having some trouble making the mask. Does anyone know where I could maybe find a good priced mask, or a pattern to make a mask? I am looking for one that covers most of the upper half of my face....any help?How can I make a good catwoman mask for halloween?

If you can't find a pattern for it at your local fabric store, see if you have a Spencer gift store(they may be willing to order it for you) near you or come October many malls have costume shops for the season. also there are lots of on line Hallow costume shops.


Other than the easy way, if you have a DVD movie playing program in your computer - see if it has a capture button. for example Cyberlink's PowerDVD has a button that loots like a camera. this button will capture a frame from the movie, you can tell it where to save to(ask your kids/high schooler they may know more than you realize) once you have captured a frame from the movie with the costume in it, go to the fabric store and in the pattern books, look through all costumes, not just Halloween. there may be a pattern you can modify to help you. clearly it the fabric needs to be some thing like spandex, so I hope you know how to sew with knit fabric.


One other idea if your not to c omitted to it looking exactly like it did in the movie. Buy your self a bald cap, paint it black,sew on cat ears and paint the rest of the mask(ears and neck and around your eyes) with either halloween make up or find a hobby store that sells face paint, they may have other ideas too. but be sure that its removable with just water.
