Not at all. Today's kids are used to all that gory, scary stuff. But, I would suggest against doing it. The cult-like draw might make you spike the kool-aid, hand out mini-black-power and abortion pamphlets and steal their candy.
If the kids were brainwashed into thinking that Obama is ';evil';, yes. That would mean it's the parents' attitudes responsible for that.
Just be sure to wear something bright when wearing dark-colored costumes if you're crossing traffic.
